Making a Statement with Cladding
Silver Creek High School, located in Sellersburg, Indiana, needed to update its façade with a new look that was inviting to students. With Parallel products, the design team achieved a durable and vibrant exterior that effectively showcased the school’s signature blue colors. The final design included aluminum cladding arranged in a unique patterned design; the installation process was made easier with Parallel’s interlocking profile design and the availability of top-down install.
Plus, a custom metallic grey finish was also incorporated to complement the bold blue colors. The slightly iridescent finish was created using specialized powder coating techniques, adding dimension and long-lasting aesthetic appeal to the school’s façade.

The Silver Creek design team and Norrenbrock Company, our trusted distributor on this project, envisioned a colorful and dynamic exterior for the school. Through their collaboration with Parallel, they achieved their vision by requesting custom colors, and a specialized metallic finish.
Unique Board Configuration Simplified
The unique patterned design of the cladding boards presented a challenge, but Parallel’s interlocking profile system and top-down installation method made the process efficient. This approach helped execute the design team’s vision while maintaining quality.
Combining Vertical and Horizontal Cladding
The façade design featured horizontal blue cladding alongside vertical metallic grey cladding, creating a striking visual effect. This creative combination showcases both Parallel’s versatile product line and the Silver Creek team’s innovative design approach.
