Project Objective
Making a Statement with Cladding
When the homeowner wanted to make updates to their luxury Michigan residence, their primary goal was to find a way to add visual interest and contemporary style without needing to alter the home’s structural components. After settling on the addition of woodgrain exterior cladding, they had to decide what material and brand to go with. Aluminum was a no-brainer due to its inherent strength and value over time, but the homeowner and distributor, Oakland Metal Sales, “ultimately settled on the Parallel brand due to local representation, US-Based corporation, very flat and straight panel construction, and color selection.”
The team selected one of Parallel’s classic woodgrain finishes for their cladding, Sedona Cherry. Warm, with red undertones, this selection proved to be the perfect way to accentuate the pre-existing architecture of the home, while adding a pop of color and modern style.
Project Design and Features
Enhancing Pre-Existing Architecture
The homeowner and Parallel’s local distributor, Oakland Metal Sales, chose cladding that would both update the home’s appearance and complement its existing design. Parallel’s clean lines and nature-inspired woodgrain finishes made their exterior cladding panels the ideal choice.
Simple Installation Packs a Big Punch
Parallel’s interlocking profile system and top-down installation method made implementing the cladding a breeze. With minimal effort, the installer was able to transform the home’s facade with a cladding material that will stand the test of time.
Authentic Woodgrain Plays Off Surrounding Nature
Nestled among beautiful surroundings, the home is embraced by lush Michigan trees and precise landscaping. This natural setting made selecting the right aluminum house siding crucial. Parallel’s Sedona Cherry finish perfectly complements the environment while providing exceptional durability and clean, straight lines.
